Geothermal Electricity export from Iceland to UK


Just found this post about Icelandic geothermal power generation.

Seems UK Government will look at any option to try to meet carbon reduction targets.

The cost of the interconnection between Iceland and UK would probably cost as much as installing solar PV and heat pumps in every home in the UK. But that would not help the Big Six keep up their monopoly on provision of electricity to domestic customers.
